Two arrested in connection with the murder of Rohingya leader Muhibullah

Two Rohingyas have been detained by 14 APBN members in connection with the shooting death of top Rohingya leader Muhibullah. The detained Rohingyas are Ziaur Rahman and Abdus Salam. On Friday night (October 2), a team from the Armed Police Battalion raided the Ukhiya Kutupalong Rohingya camp in Cox’s Bazar and detained them. APBN handed over the two detainees to Ukhiya police station at night. Naimul Haque commander of 14 APBN (Superintendent of Police) in charge of camp security, confirmed the detention of two Rohingyas on Saturday (October 2nd) morning. Earlier, APBN members arrested Mohammad Selim Prakash alias Lamba Selim around 12 noon on Friday. He was later handed over to Ukhiya police. So far, three Rohingyas have been arrested in connection with the murder of Muhibullah.On Thursday night Habib Ullah the brother of the Rohingya leader Muhibullah, filed a case (Case No. 126, dated 30/09/2021) accusing the unidentified persons.
