In addition, “tech-noir” film as a hybrid genre, means a work of combining neo-noir and science fiction or cyberpunk. Cybergoths, to my knowledge, didn’t exist as described in this article before late 90s/early 2000s. So, you’d more often see basic goths who defined as cyberpunks in the classic era. There has been a frequent connection between rave, industrial, and cyberpunk culture, however. I think, “cyberpunk” is the defeat of technology against the culture.
